The Community:
Monterey Country Club was developed in 1978, and nestles within 375 acres, and is centrally located to all desert cities. Monterey Country Club is three miles from Palm Desert's business center, shopping and theaters, 15 miles to Bermuda Dunes airport for private aircraft. Access to interstate 10 is via Monterey Avenue. There are 1206 homes at Monterey Country Club consisting of two and three bedrooms (1269-2060 sq. ft.). Most homes are located on the golf course overlooking fairway and/or lakes.

Added to the charm of Monterey's early California architecture are mature shade and ornamental trees and shrub accented with desert flowers. Each home is convenient to one or more of the 34 crystal clear pools and spas. Located on the north side of the resort, the 27,000 sq. ft. clubhouse overlooks the golf course and lakes. Dinner is served seasonally, lunch and cocktails are available year round. For casual outdoor dining there is an outside snack shop open seasonally.

The Cost:
One of the best values in the valley! If you are a resident, there is no initiation fee to join Monterey Country Club. Membership may be activated for golf and tennis on a annual basis. A transfer fee applicable to a social membership is passed on when the property is sold. All owners pay $69 per month for proprietary social dues plus a homeowners assessment of $365 for a monthly total of $434 ~This fee pays for all landscape and pool maintenance, 24 hour guard gate and security, trash pick-up, cable TV including HBO movie channel, roof repair and replacement, exterior maintenance, plus exterior pest control.

The Palm Springs Regional Airport is only 15 miles southeast of the club and the Bermuda Dunes Airport for private aircraft is just 10 miles to the east. Access to Interstate 10 is via Monterey Avenue, right outside the club.

Golf:
One of the finest courses in the area, our Ted Robinson designed, 27-hole, championship course will challenge the lowest handicap while providing a beautiful escape from the day to day rush. The course features lush palm lined fairways, beautiful azure lakes, and majestic views the Santa Rosa mountain range.
Monterey also boasts a very active men's and ladies golf clubs, which play host to member tournaments, special events and social functions year round.
Not afraid of a 10-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole? Monterey's best qualify for the annual "American Golf Classic" member tournament. The winning team receives an all expense paid trip to one of the premier properties within the American Golf Country Club family to compete with the best that our "sister" clubs have to offer.

This program provides you with weekday access to over 200 of the finest private clubs, resorts, and daily fee courses, across the country and abroad, for just the cost of the cart rental.

Tennis:
Monterey Country Club's championship facilities include 19 courts, ten of which are lighted for night play. Additionally, just outside of or tennis clubhouse is our own~ "center court" stadium for tournament play and special events.
Our first class tennis staff has the training and experience to improve hoe you play, feel and look on the court. Truly a "family" center Monterey CC offers private lessons, clinics, competition for all ages and abilities, a renowned Junior Tennis Academy and a comprehensive pro shop.

Fitness:
Monterey's fitness facility located in the tennis clubhouse, features state-of-the-art aerobic and weight equipment, and a trained staff to back it up. Whether you are looking for a personal trainer to keep you going, or a massage therapist to help you recover from a hard workout, Monterey CC has it all.
